The Rostomily Lab research interests include i) the role of the bHLH transcription factors like TWIST1 in epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) phenotypes in GBM, ii) targeting the GBM immune tumor microenvironment and EMT through novel NR4A1/2 inhibitors, iii) electrophysiologic reprogramming of GBM stem cells iv) Development of large animal GBM models, v) pre-analytic variables and MGMT promoter methylation vi) aging and glioma malignancy and vii) brain metastasis outcomes, imaging and basic biology.
